Our Apartment house is located in the small and idyllic village Ebene Reichenau at an altitude of almost 1100 m above sea level. With only 700 inhabitants, you can enjoy the silence and spend your holiday in harmony with nature.
Ebene Reichenau is the perfect base to explore the paradise of the mountaineers: the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Nockberge, a protected natural landscape that covers 216 km2.
Many types of animals and plants grow within its borders, such as Austria’s largest Swiss stone pine forest, a conifer which can reach an age of 1000 years.
The village might be small, but the location is just perfect – situated in the heart of the famous “Nockberge”, it offers the perfect conditions to explore its beautiful surroundings.
There are plenty of possibilities – ALL YEAR ROUND.
Almost any type of sport can be practiced. The classics like skiing and hiking, but also climbing, down-hill mountain biking or wind-surfing at the nearby lakes.
Many interesting places to visit are just in front of your holiday front-door. For example, Heidi World at Falkert or the year-round alpine roller coaster “Nocky-Flitzer” at Turracher Höhe.
The beginning of the well-known road “Nockalmstraße” is just a few kilometers away – a gentle mountain road with numerous attractions for all ages. Breathtaking sceneries included!
A restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine is located next to the complex, and a supermarket is just 50 meters away. Moreover, a petrol station, a bank (with ATM), a post office, a pub, a church and a playground for children can be found in the village of Ebene Reichenau.
